Porcelain slabs are heat resistant, extremely durable, water resistant, easy to maintain, and they are UV light resistant. Porcelain is so durable in fact, that some fabricators and contractors choose not to work with it. This is another reason why it is so important to find a contractor who aligns with what you need.
Quartzite is another natural beauty. Quartzite materials have grown in popularity over the past few years due to their beauty, durability, and natural look. Quartzite can be identified by its beautiful patterns and veining. It often resembles a landscape such as a mountain range or the ocean. Quartzite is a natural stone, created from sandstone pressed into the earth’s crust. 2024 interior design trends show that the natural look is here to stay, and we have no doubt that quartzite will only continue to grow in popularity.

Although it is higher maintenance than some of our other stones, it also has many benefits and is incredibly durable if cared for properly. Marble comes in a variety of colors and patterns. If Marble does not work for your lifestyle, there are alternatives such as some quartz slabs that our associates will be happy to show you.
